Dick Clark died today. I was reminded of how much music benefits our health. Here is a link to a summary of some of that research: http://www.designandhealth.com/uploaded/documents/
publications/papers/paul-robertson-wcdh2000.pdf. It says that music can reduce pain…all kinds of pain. Thank you Dick Clark for lessening our pain… all kinds of pain.

    MY name is Thomas Yeargin, and I’m currently taking a Health Comm class at Clemson with Dr. Jones. One of the things that we have talked about in our class is how much peoples personal beliefs can differ when it come to what they consider treatment for their health . I think that your post here about music here relates to that especially in the sense that one person may recognize its healing qualities while another may completely disregard it.
